The Lego Movie 2 is set in a post-apocalyptic desert after the Legoverse has been devastated by Lego Duplo invaders.
They kidnapped most of the Legoverse residents, including Lucy and Emmet’s other friends such as Batman and Unikitty.
A special feature of Lego Movie 2 is the gathering of DC Comics heroes such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Harley Quinn, and especially the `billion dollar` Neptune Aquaman.
Compared to part 1 of The Lego Movie, although there is no longer the presence of Phil Lord and Christopher Miller in the director’s chair, the duo still holds the role of producer and screenwriter for the sequel.
