Soon recognized as a design talent
Jacquemus is considered a young design talent in France.
Jacquemus grew up in the town of Mallemort in the south of France, with a family with a tradition of farming.
At the same time, the designer worked at the Comme des Garçons brand store in 2011 to have additional financial resources for personal brand development.
Compared to its humble beginnings, Jacquemus has become a brand valued at up to 5 million euros (about 4.5 million pounds) at the present time.
Currently, his design studio is located in a famous and long-standing square in the heart of the French capital Paris – Place des Vosges in Le Marais district.
Rihanna is an artist who has enthusiastically supported Jacquemus’s designs since the first days.

Jacquemus’s design style
Jacquemus’s design style is summed up in simplicity as a design concept;

The young designer is inspired by images and styles that bear many traces of French fashion, such as horizontal Breton sailor stripes (a classic pattern once promoted by Coco Chanel in the early 19th century).
Jacquemus’s designs are deeply personal, possessing exaggerated design details such as sleeves, peplums, asymmetrical pleats,… but all are highly practical.
Exaggerated designs, harmonizing artistic aesthetics and high applicability of Jacquemus.
In 2015, Jacquemus won the finals of the LVMH design talent competition.
The new, exciting approach, breaking away from the traditional mold of French fashion, has made the jury include famous names such as designer Karl Lagerfeld, Marc Jacobs, Nicolas Ghesquière, Phoebe Philo, Raf Simons.

If capturing and using eye-catching, artistic and inspirational images on social networks is to be considered a talent, then Jacquemus is truly a convincing talent.
Not letting this unique strength of hers go to waste, the designer released a book of art collections, in parallel with presenting her Spring – Summer 2014 collection called ‘La Grande Motte’.
The artistic images make the talented designer’s Instagram one of the accounts that attracts the attention of fashion followers.
Extremely wide-brimmed hats have been `promoted` by Jacquemus in recent fashion seasons.
Jacquemus once shared about his image of a woman in fashion: `When I first introduced my collection at Paris Fashion Week, the press suddenly gave me a lot of favor because this was the first time I presented my collection at Paris Fashion Week.
The French woman in my design is not at all similar to anyone appearing on the Paris Fashion Week runway in recent seasons.
