As a nurse, perhaps the difficulties have increased even more during the stressful time of the COVID-19 epidemic.

I work at the Department of Cardiovascular Emergency Resuscitation at the Ho Chi Minh City Heart Institute as a nurse.

Facing the risk of exposure but still having to complete tasks, is psychology a major obstacle for medical and nursing staff?

Perhaps, colleagues working at hospitals and facilities specializing in treating COVID-19 patients will face much greater pressure.

Every day, witnessing heartbreaking losses is inevitable.

How did your colleagues where you work encourage and help each other overcome this?

We communicate continuously.

What is your biggest concern for your family during this time?

Most of the staff at the hospital have families.

Having worked at the hospital for many years, we have witnessed many deaths due to illness, but we have never realized that the line between life and death is so thin.

After work, when we return to the boarding house, both our body and mind are exhausted, we will face loneliness and homesickness.

Have you ever felt discouraged and wanted to quit your job?

What will you do first when Saigon is over and you can return home?

I, my colleagues and probably everyone have always been waiting for this day to come quickly.

There is truly nothing that can describe the longing of a mother far from her child.

Live slowly and love more.
