Fashion designer Raf Simons parted ways with Dior
When immersing yourself in the space full of purple flowers and looking at the latest designs at Dior’s Spring-Summer 2016 collection show in Paris in early October, perhaps few people knew and believed that they were watching the final collection.
On October 22, Raf Simons and the Board of Directors of the Dior brand officially announced that Raf Simons will leave the position of Creative Director of Dior’s Haute Couture, Ready-to-Wear and women’s accessories lines.

The source said this decision was the result of an `amicable` agreement between Raf Simons and Dior after the two could not find a common consensus for Raf to continue his new term.
Of course, the next question that arises will certainly be `Who will replace Raf Simons?`

A bigger question is not only about the case of Raf Simons and Dior or John Galliano before that, but also about the increasingly faster and stronger rotation and pull of the fashion vehicle to chase profits and numbers.
